jd at 1
charge at 1
solar at 2
whirlwind at 2

but i seen; brain banned. now seeing dad and brionac banned. so we are seeing some similiarities.

So my guess is, this list has parts which are true but personally the brionac and dad parts are false.

i have seen tribe infecting virus at 1 on some lists, whilst on others i seen magician of faith...

It would turn into a slower paced format that involves a little bit more skill then it does now, if provided a deck doesnt comes out that proves to be faster then anything else.

And finnally, if the banlist came out today would it make any differnce? No. But you NEED to know the list in order to make your deck for testing and move the ban cards? Test when the list comes out, and you should have already moved your possible "banned" stuff by now.

It's not a bad list, although I fail to see why Brionac deserves to be banned. It's not nearly on the same par as Dark Strike Fighter. And Magical Explosion? Nobody uses the OTK. Then, of course, Konami reverses it right again by making Mind Master OTK and Dewloren OTK possible.

Mind Crush at 3 gets a thumbs up. Great card in general. Chaos Sorcerer at 3 does not. Although few decks would want to run 3, there's still the massive threat of the Chaos era coming back. If some rumors are true about BLS coming back, then C-Sorc should be at 2, or even 1.

Allure at 1 is really unneeded. Putting it at 2 isn't broken at all. Crush Card is back though, and I'm happy about that. Lightsworns are getting hit like they should; it's Konami's fault for not paying attention to a Charge-less Tier 1.5 deck in Japan until Charge was actually released there.

On the other hand, I think Zombies were hit far too hard. Burial at 1 and Mezuki at 1 would suffice, but they had to hit Goblin Zombie and Brionac too?

Gladiator Beasts seem to be getting a boost with Bestiari back at 2, but War Chariot is now semi'd... interesting. As someone else said, GBs won't be as good this format because of Starlight Road, a fantastic card overall. If anything, Blackwings will dominate. Why? The Shining Darkness.

Although Allure is down to 1 and Whirlwind is down to 2, Blackwings have Breeze the Gentle Wind coming out in TSHD in addition to Blackwing Treasure, two cards that will seriously give support to BWs.

So you've heard my rant. It's not a bad list, but there could be improvements. Wait and see if this is right or not, meh.

While I do know this site has been right in the past, this list is really hard to believe. Most of the stuff that would be brought back is not stuff that needs to be brought back, and same goes for all the stuff that's being brought down from their already existing bans or limits. The only reason anyone would want crush card back is for konami to make more money off of Duelist Pack Kaiba. If that's the case, they'll just ban it again next list. While I do believe you got this, I hope someone was lying to you, because this list is complete crap.

Once u use magical explosion, u can remove it from play along with junk and use it again. Also it gets support because its light from shining angel and can be searched out via Chaos End Master if anyone uses it. This card can also combo with starlight road when its on the field to stop a heavy or something. Other than that thats all I know about it from just reading the text.

While I agree with some of it, there are some things I completely disagree with this list, and then there are some things on it that I find just plain weird.

First off, while I'm sure you didn't make this up, I think someone lied to you along the way. There is no way in hell this list is right. Crush Card coming back is just plain stupid and there's way more changes then they usually make on the list. Plus you didn't post the second list and if anyone outside of konami knew the list for sure, it would have already been posted all over the web.

Secondly, for the list itself, I agree with most of the stuff getting banned. DAD needs to be banned like none other. It's completely unfair and shouldn't have ever been printed in the first place. I do like the fact that this list kills off lightsworns so much. JD needed to be limited and all the other lightsworn cards did need to be hit.

Brionac however doesn't need to be banned. Yes, it's powerful and needs to be limited really badly, it's not at a point of being too powerful for the game. Gold Sarcophagus, Chaos Sorcerer, Ultimate Offering and Mind Crush are all cards that really don't need to be unlimited at all. Tsukuyomi especially doesn't need to come back right now. Solemn was good at 1, it doesn't need to be any less than that.

Uh, as far as weird goes, I didn't expect anything to happen to Gravity Bind, and if this list is real, that would be interesting to see what happens there.

The thing I disagree most about this list is Crush Card though. It's about to be reprinted and easier to get so it doesn't need to be brought back.

I run Twilight, so my deck is ruined by this list. It does have merit though, KONAMI loses money with these cards around because people choose not to buy new sets. We experienced a small turnout from the recent sneak peak at the store I work at because people did not need any cards from the set to improve Zombies or Lightsworns. Gonna sell my Brionac, DAD, JD, and BFTDD this weekend. Its a bummer, but I'll just move on to Koa'ki Meirus, they seem a bit fun.

If all you idiotic unreasonabe people will think for a second, maybe the list is the way it is for a reason. Maybe if it is real, maybe Konami is trying to make the game for the United States a lot more conservative, less one turn kill based, and slower. Also think about this, why would Konami reprint Gladiator Beast Heraklino's and eventually reprinting Crush Card Virus if they weren't planning on bringing Crush Card Virus back and basing the banned list on supporting glads and slower type decks. I'm not saying this is the real list but I am saying just think and give the possibility of this list a positive thought. Also think about this, DAD can almost be splashed into every deck that plays 5 to 7 Darks. Also this list controls Lightsworn and makes lightsworn players think and play more conservatively. Brionic and zombies were asking for this list also because Zombies only know how to swarm and synchro easy, while Brionic has so many pluses to it. Don't worry about chaos sorcerer because it is 1) too weak 2) to costly unless playing strategy right and 3) much slower than DAD. For all of you who don't know about the junk collector- magic explosion OTK/FTK deck, just look it up on YouTube because there is too much to explain on it, so I'll just tell you that it is self touch play where only the person using the deck basically has the turn and pretty much wins that turn without the other player even having any chance, so just look it up. So like I said earlier, just give it the slight possiblity that this may really be the list.

I believe sun and the resources he has over anyone else's lists that are "confirmed" or "rumored" I've always looked on this site because I found the March 1st 2009 &&&&& Sept 1st 2009 Banned lists here before ANYONE had them posted. So we all know that this list MIGHT be fake, but it's from a trusted source, so SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU INTERNET N00BS!!!! People are still wondering why they limit Solemn in the first place? It was soooooo broken beacuse it gets your otk final attack go straight. But in this new format, less otk means that we can play solemn at 2 safely again. If you are a bad player, or a stupid one, solemn will fireback at you and that gives balance to this card. Solemn should be a defensive one pice of tech, not an offensive one.

Only beacuse you don't understand why a card in the banlist is limited, it doesn't mean that it's not true. Every guy around was surprised to see Mind Master limited in the Sep 09 banlist instead of JD. Now they unlimited it and limit the real one that deserves it. Monster Reborn: I was really shocked for this, but result in a strategic management of your own graveyard. Pretty amazing move.
Breaker the Magical Warrior: Considered unfair and borken it was forbidden some lista ago, now we got it at three and has not chaged the meta at all.
Chaos Sorcerer: The perfect example of a balanced card that went from unlimited to forbidden.

As you see, return banned cards could be possible, even benefical. Crush Card needs to return to wreck those decks with tons of boss monsters.

Not going to lie, I think this list sucks. The tempo of the game at the moment is enjoyable in my opinion, sworns waa obviously gna get hit, and i predicted whirlwind getting hit, but allure and DAD...yawn, and CCV is just really bad for the game. This banlist does seem logical. Konami made several reprints for lightsworn and made zombies over powered so everyone would buy the 2 decks. LOL at all those that cry out that the translated list is unfair. After PTDN Yu-Gi-Oh became so brainless, people stopped thinking and playing fair, the idea of the big bad motherf*cker that could win you games by himself (like it was with Chaos Emperor Dragon) was all too alluring to be ignored.

Lightsworns was necessary, they dominated and now they face their twilight, no pun intended. GB's return surprises me and makes me all too happy, though Chariot at two is a bit sad, oh well. Blackwing survives pretty much the same, Vayu was played at two anyway, though losing DAD (yay he goes away!) and Allure might be significant. It's always better than that absurd second list though (seriously, CyD at two, Treeborn, Grand Mole and Smashing Ground unlimited? WTF =|).

I'm a bit surprised about Magical Explosion, but more importantly why, WHY CCV IS BEING UNBANNED D:, this I hope it will reveal itself as a fake, this only.

Thanks anyway for the list and keep up the good work, those who criticize or offend you are the duelists whose decks will be ruined by this ban list anyway - if it reveals itself to be true.

I'll have to say - if either of the lists are real, my bet would have to be the one at the top. Upon metadata inspection, the top picture has been taken as a photo from a camera, at 10:45PM on Feb 2nd, with a KDDI-SN Camera. Shutter speed and everything is detailed. In the second photo, none of this data is present, meaning that it has been professionally altered, saved in another format during the process, then saved back in the lossy format.

So let's go from this point. Bottom list is obviously fake from the lack of metadata contained therein. Top list could still be fake, however in order for it to be a fake, someone would have to REALLY know what they were doing.

I think this list is really smart. If you haven't noticed Konami is making a move to archetype specific decks, and away from the "hey lets take all the broken stuff, and throw it together" format we had this time( im looking at you lightswornzombiewingz). Taking away Dad had to happen eventually. The card was too easy to bring out with the amount of grave control. With dark decks getting so nerfed by allure they will need crush card to remain viable. I am kind of sad about the glad beast pwnage, but I rest assured that starlight road will fix. Honestly I see nothing wrong with this list, and hope it is the one.

Banning DaD is good, but pointless. DaD can easily be stopped, but takes part in several OTKs.
Leaving it alone until Sept. 2010 would make things better.
Magical explosion... No point in banning. leave the shit at 1.
Brionac... Degenerate circuit. that's all. At least leave it 1, like they did with Black Rose.
As for Crush card... It makes a bit of sense, but they should leave it banned... for now at least. JD at 1 is understandable. I run twilight and my otk consisting of 2 JD's and guardian of order/Chaos sorcerer can be brutal.
Gravity Bind... no. Final countdown decks will start pwning. Scrubbed raid and Battle Fader needs their asses limited. The other stuff except bestiari on the semi-limited list is reasonable.
Seriously. If they're going to hit a deck hard, at least mess up Six Sams a bit... despite the fact that I run one.

I would. read my above comment. I run a FC/Deckout deck. it's basically a RFP stall deck with needle worms, necorfaces, and Final Countdown. it counters a lot of common deck types due to the immediate loss of some key cards in my opponent's deck by side-boarding Dark Designator and Prohibition.

Can be true beacuse every banlist is designed to balance the meta, or in your words, change it. Blackwings are going to be powerful, but not so overpowered like Zombie or Lightsworn in this format. Gladiator Beast will make a comeback, but there are so many counter cards against Gladiator Beast and its Special Summons. I predict a balanced format, going out to more control oriented decks and a slower speed. Lightsworn are not dead, they will be forced to change they playstyle and are still strong with cards like Lumina and Celestia. Zombies, on the other hand, they are pretty much dead by a bullet in their brains.
¿Cyber Dragon decks? With 1 per deck that's impossible.
By the way, V-JUMP magazine comes out today or tomorrow, so the long await finally is over.
